Who are we
Energium GHG/GES Inc. is a Canadian organization specialized in the aggregation of GHG credits obtained through energy efficiency programs intended for road, sea, rail, and air transport. Energium also provides aggregation of credits in the industrial, institutional and parapublic sectors.
To foster initiatives that reduce GHG and quantify results in the form of credits, which are in turn certified through ISO 14064-2 standardized programs and products. GHG reductions are aggregated by way of a GHG CleanProjects registry of CSA Climate Change, which uses the new ISO 14064-2 standard as a reference.
To receive credits, each user must
sign up in a central registry and must provide the identity of the transport company owner and information to identify the vehicle in question and its certified performance. Each vehicle is registered separately. Once credits are certified, Energium offers customers to buy back customer credits at a determined price. Creation of this pool enables all citizens whether from the private or corporate sector to quantify and derive cash benefits from their efforts with regard to GHG emission reductions, regardless of company size or the number of vehicles.
